Reverend David C. Trosch July 16, 1994 Congressman Dear Congressman, Soon you will be faced with greater consequences of the actions taken by the U. S. Supreme Court when they made the "Roe vs Wade" and "Doe vs Bolton" decisions. In the not too distant future it is anticipated that we will be faced with a civil war because of these inflammatory decisions made over twenty years ago. Many Christians today are still struggling with the concept that, "Yes!" it is murder to take human life at any time following conception. For most the unborn are not yet seen to be friends, to be protected. They have not fully accepted the importance of unborn life to God. For these, for the time being, seeing is believing. Because the unborn are not yet seen, even in the mind's eye, they are not believed to be persons-- brothers and sisters intended for eternal life. When the full impact of the belief in the humanism of life from the moment of conception reaches a high enough number of those who are sincere in their faith, then it is expected that a very bloody civil insurrection shall begin. The first shot was fired in Pensacola early last year when Mr. Michael Griffin killed abortionist Dr. David Gunn out of the simple--and growing--understanding that Dr. Gunn was a practicing murderer on his way into an abortuary to kill more innocent human beings. Keep in mind that it took World War II to stop the slaughter of the millions of innocent people, which had begun prior to the opening shots of the War. All of the rhetoric concerning the pro-abortion and freedom of choice positions will be meaningless. The fact is that there will be numerous Christians in this country--eventually becoming many millions--who will finally come to grips with the knowledge that their belief system says, "murder of innocent human beings is taking place daily throughout society." They will come to understand that God will hold them accountable for not taking direct action to prevent this evil. When this becomes their accepted faith belief and the normal constraints of pacifism, which pervades throughout this country, is overcome, then we will see the beginning of massive killing of abortionists and their staffs. In time the killing, in protection of the innocent, will begin to spill over into the killing of the police and military who attempt to protect them. Thereafter it will begin to affect those who direct them to protect abortion providers. This will include, but not be limited to, city councilmen, mayors, governors, representatives, senators, the president and his staff, judges, and others seen in any way as fostering protection of mass murderers. They will be sought out and eliminated as all grave evil should be purged to keep it from contaminating society (the bad apple in the barrel concept). Members of the American Civil Liberties Union will place high on the target list. Members of the National Organization of Women, members of Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion/choice organizations will be sought out and terminated as vermin are terminated. It will be seen as a necessity for the defense of innocent human life. For those who believe in eternal life, participation in the destruction of evil would soon become understood as a meritorious action, as a prerequisite for entrance into eternal life. No civil government, no civil authority will be persuasive or powerful enough to continue to protect the continuance of such great evil. It is hoped that this warning will be sufficient for the Congress of the United States to reverse the position taken by the Supreme Court in "Roe vs Wade" and "Doe vs Bolton". Should it prove that government and society today are so corrupt that no action is taken in the defense of the innocent, it is my belief that very shortly God Himself will personally become involved with . Abortion should no longer be seen as a right concerning individual freedoms since the innocent party, the unborn child, has not been allowed to express his or her freedom of choice in the matter. And, regardless of the foregoing, it would still be understood as cold blooded murder. Christians, and those of most other religious beliefs, generally recognize that all innocent human life is sacred to God and must be protected. The choice of pregnancy, of coming into existence, was not that of the individual innocent life in the womb. Once that individual has life--and this is defined by Holy Scripture and religious teachings to take place at conception--the only choice is to nurture that innocent life and help it to its proper eternal destiny. Pregnancy is a natural result of sexual activity. Any understanding which fosters or accepts sexual activity, without consideration of this natural end, is in itself evil. We are on the verge of space travel. Finances and energies should be turned in the direction of promoting space travel. As population grows the pressures of an increasing population will in time force us out into space. The sooner this goal is established and understood, and we prepare for this eventuality, the sooner the perceived need for abortion and birth control will be reversed. Twice in Genesis God commanded, "Be fertile and multiply." God fully knew and understood that there existed a universe with vast numbers of inhabitable planets, similar to and even the same as our own, to be colonized, i.e., populated with our ever expanding population which has not yet approached its earthly limits. All should take into consideration the personal judgement each one will receive following death.
Whether one chooses to believe in such judgement or not will be irrelevant. There was a
statement made many years ago which illustrates a point in this regard. It is called Paschal's Wager made by one Blaise Pascal in the 17th Century.
Which alternative will you wager on? You can't avoid choosing one or the other; you have embarked on the wager already. A refusal to choose carries the same result as choosing that God does not exist. What if you choose to bet that God exists? If you win, you win everything; if you lose, you lose nothing. Make a bet that God exists." Infrequently has the power of this argument, known as Pascal's wager, been denied, even by those who don't find it compelling. The risk of not believing in God, if he does exist, far outweighs the risk of believing in God if he does not exist. The gamble is between eternal damnation on one hand and philosophical misjudgment on the other. If we believe and are wrong we've lost little, but if we don't believe and are wrong we've lost everything. Pascal believed that reasonable men should bet on God's existence. (From article written by Mark Wheeler, "This Rock" May/June 1992.) In the long term it will make no difference as to who is actually right in regard to the existence of God and what the parameters are for having eternal life. This will be true whether one is a Christian, an atheist or agnostic, or someone who has another religious belief. The reality is that there will be high enough numbers who do believe in eternal life. They will believe that in order to have eternal happiness they must stop the killing of innocent people, their brothers and sisters in the human race, by whatever means are available according to their abilities. Abortionists and their staffs will be seen as murderers as they are already understood to be by many today. They will no longer be seen as innocent people performing a service for mankind. All who protect abortionists, rather it be through governmental decree or by force of arms, will be included with them. The belief in the evil of abortion already exists. People of faith will in time overcome their inhibitions to the violence necessary to abort evil in their midst. This will take place by reason of necessity due to a reasoned desire for eternal life. According to these beliefs the laws of civil government will be irrelevant as far as aborticide is concerned. For those who truly believe in eternal life, religious beliefs take precedence over civil laws when they are in conflict. They believe that the greatest thing one can do is to lay down one's life for a friend, a neighbor. Much stronger laws will be called for and demanded against the evils of procured abortion than were in place prior to the legalization of abortion in the early seventies. This will happen since now there is a much better understanding medically, scientifically and in religious beliefs of the reality of life beginning at conception. Religious people have long believed in the sacredness of human life from the moment of conception. The Hippocratic oath has long illustrated the medical belief of the value of human life from conception. There have always been, even within the confines of religious profession, those who have had questions concerning the time of ensoulment of a person (see bottom of page 3). These questions took place within the realm of philosophical discussion and were never a part of formal teachings of faith. Scientific information was not available and there was a general lack of proper understanding of the full teachings of Scripture. Bibles, for proper contemplation, were not available in highly readable printed form until recent centuries. Government has long been encroaching upon values which are primarily the concern of religious beliefs in regard to human freedoms and human rights. Government has increasingly been interfering with the spiritual growth process which is the ultimate goal of human life and has been integral with the system of justice in this country until very recent years. Socialism is a creeping evil. It is the religion of atheists, agnostics, and humanists. National health care is a part of this creeping socialism and is often promoted by people who make pretense at having religious faith. Too many religious leaders are little more than humanists. They present themselves in sheep's clothing while underneath they are wolves waiting to devour and destroy. The consequences on judgement day for these people will be even greater than that of those who deny the existence of God. Many in religious life can properly be equated with political appointees. Many others are no more than hirelings controlled in their teachings by their so called flocks. There are, of course, many who are people with true sincerity of faith. This would include people of all religions even though there exists among them errors on particular points. Even if most are in error on particular points, they are none-the-less people of sincere faith and in time they will act upon the faith they possess. The fact that some religions, and even many people in most religions, favor abortion or are pro-choice is irrelevant. Opinion polls are irrelevant. The cold hard fact is that there will be large numbers who will come to a strength of belief that there is grave evil in society in regard to murder by abortion. They will become energized and start taking aggressive action against this evil. There will be no human force able to stop this movement once it has begun in earnest. The lives of all who speak in favor of abortion will be at grave risk. Perhaps, even probably, the lives of those politicians who fail to strongly oppose abortion will be at risk. Activists who are killed, injured, or incarcerated will become martyrs or living heros. The decision is yours. I personally believe that if you make the wrong decision--which in all
probability you will do--thereafter, you will be affected by the consequences of what you have
failed to do. No personal threat is intended. What I am saying is my belief in what will happen.
What has been said is given as advice. There will be consequences for holding a pro-abortion / pro-choice position.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .fr. David C. Trosch The following is extracted from a letter sent to a person questioning the In reference to Scripture some ask why is the New Testament silent on abortion? The truth is that it is not. The following facts make this clear. 1. The New Testament condemns the killing of innocent human beings. 2. The New Testament makes no distinction between pre-born and post-born babies. The word "brephos" is used in Luke 1:41 and 44 to refer to a baby living in the womb. And in Luke 18:15-17 the same word is used to refer to a baby living outside the womb. 3. Babies are innocent human beings. 4. The only logical conclusion: The New Testament condemns baby killing (i.e., in essence, the Bible condemns abortion). (Biblical facts references taken from AFA Journal, 10/93) The belief in early existence of full life in the womb is confirmed in Luke 1:41-45. John the Baptist, six months following his conception, spiritually recognized the presence of His and our Lord Jesus who was at that time but a very few days present in the womb of Mary. It would have been only the full spiritual personhood of Jesus that was recognized, not just the body of what someday would be Jesus. Elizabeth said to Mary, "And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" If Jesus had not already been fully present in Mary's womb, Elizabeth would not have asked the question in this manner. Medical science has now proven that from the moment of conception the fullness of human life is present. There are born children living today conceived in a test tube and implanted in a surrogate mother. The surrogate mother from that point on furnishes the child with nourishment, warmth and shelter. These necessities are all things that born persons require. A surrogate mother gives no part of her genetic code to the child. Today both Church and scientific teachings agree that human life begins at conception. Pope Pius IX in 1869 (Apostolicae sedis) condemned abortion from the moment of conception as homicide--(homicide should here be interpreted to mean the intentional killing of an innocent human being. If this were not true there would not be such a stringent penalty involved)--and attached to the crime an excommunication. The 2nd Vatican Council in the document Gaudium et spes 51 states, "Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes." Note: The born and the preborn are classified together. St. Basil the Great, writing in the year 375 A.D., stated categorically: "A woman who deliberately destroys a fetus is answerable for murder--The term murder as herein used has the same definition as for homicide as defined above.-- And any fine distinction as to its being formed or unformed is not admissible among us." The second great commandment says that we must love our neighbor as ourselves. The innocent pre-born child is clearly our neighbor in the fullest sense of the word according to 1st Century teachings--Didache, etc.--, St. Basil, and present day Church teachings. The new "Catechism of the Catholic Church" states in section 2269, "The moral law prohibits exposing someone to mortal danger without grave reason, as well as refusing assistance to a person in danger. 2270 states, "Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person - among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life. 2271 states, Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not been changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or as a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law." Section 2322 states, "From its conception, the child has the right to life. Direct abortion, that is, abortion willed as an end or as a means, is a `criminal' practice (GS 27 3), gravely contrary to moral law. The Church imposes the canonical penalty of excommunication for this crime against human life. Section 2323 states, "Because it should be treated as a personfrom the moment of conception, the embryo must be defended in its integrity, cared for, and healed like every other human being. You make reference to Genesis 1:27; "God created man in his image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them." The term man refers to a combination of body, soul and spirit. If any one of the three elements is missing, there is no existence of man. Genetically, man begins when the spermatozoon unites with an ovum. The full medical scientific identification of an individual is then present. The Church teaches that science and religion do not disagree. The soul is commonly referred to as the life force, therefore anything that is a living entity has a soul rather it is vegetative or animal. The image of God refers not to the body but to the spirit. At the moment of creation the image of God is stated, by Scripture, to be present. If everything had to be exactly and definitively stated before it was to be believed and accepted
then God would not have held Cain accountable for killing Able, or, the people in the land of
Shinar for building the Tower of Babel, or, the Hebrews accountable for their grumbling in the
desert, etc.
Note: Underlining, etc. is personal emphasis.
