U. S. Constitution - A fetus is a LEGAL PERSON
but DOES NOT have CITIZENSHIP ( A preborn baby's life is fully protected by Amendment Article 14, Section 1. )  Most Christians, and probably the majority of members of other religions, believe in the sacredness of human life. This belief undoubtedly extends to at least 99% of the population, if it refers only to what might be called normal adult human life. A major and growing problem exists when this belief extends to unborn human life. Notice however the limitation to human life. It is well known that the lives --the pre-born lives and even the mating grounds-- of non-human species, when considered endangered, are well protected. The major question and the true legal question concerns the time when personhood or definable human life begins. The majority of Christians and perhaps most others believe that full life begins at the moment of conception. In science this is today an unquestioned fact. Why then is there such an existing dilemma for the vast majority of people when it comes to defending innocent human life. Certainly for true Christians and Jews the question of justice is of paramount importance. Justice more than anything must apply to the protection of innocent human life. Sacred Scriptures are adamantly against those responsible for the shedding of innocent human blood. Politicians and Supreme Court Justices, both federal and state, are responsible for having allowed a grievous condition of injustice to exist in this country for many years. In recent months Mr. Michael Griffin, of Pensacola Florida, shot and killed Dr. David Gunn. It is unquestioned that Dr. Gunn was on his way into an abortion clinic to shed innocent human blood (pre-born humans are clearly the most innocent of human life and shed blood when torn apart). There was no question of vengeance being the motivation for this killing. Therefore the killing of Dr. Gunn can only be termed a "Justifiable Homicide" which is a legal defense throughout the United States. A homicide is justifiable when committed in ones own defense or in the defense of another innocent human being or beings. When good Christians and others begin to accept their guilt in allowing the continuing death of so many innocent people there will unquestionably be many more such occurrences. Michael Griffin had been, relatively speaking, a recently activated Christian and so his sense of proper relationship with God was still fresh. It is but a matter of time until there is a more general renewal of positive relationship with God. The Catholic Christian Church clearly states that human life begins at conception. The Nuremberg trials clearly indicate what should be done with all who participate in the taking of innocent human life. It is only a matter of time until this nation and others become blood baths over this issue. Act quickly to change the existing permissive laws which are already responsible for over 30,000,000 innocent victims. The figures are staggering and soon it will not be only pre-borns who will be subjects for mass executions!
