"I want everyone to know that this person survives."

Emily Lyons appeared at a press conference in Birmingham showing her injuries and seeking sympathy for herself and co-activists. This activism (abortion) is what the pope calls murder. She is said to have had a tear running down her right cheek from her remaining eye which was closed tightly to protect it from bright lights as she held up her right hand, mangled and red. She asks the bomber if it was felt that something would change. She states that the clinics (places of murdering innocent babies) would continue to stay open. In her pride at her murderous accomplishments she wants everyone to know that she survived.

It was reported that at the nearby university hospital that a string of operations saved her life. The clear reality is that no series of operations will ever restore the lives of the thousands she has acted as an accessory in murdering.

6 week tubal pregnancy capable of being placed in mother's own womb Lyons said the hardest part of her ordeal was being unable to see her husband, children and the people caring for her. She totally excludes the fact that many if not all of the mothers (and numerous fathers) of the babies she assisted in murdering will retain a non-erasable memory of the cowardly act that was perpetrated on their helpless children.

Those not still living in denial (a common aspect of Post Abortion Syndrome existing on an average of about 8 years) will for the most part not find any effective degree of closure. High numbers will turn to drugs, alcohol, and make many suicide attempts (often succeeding, though not recorded as such) during their normally much shortened lives. They will abuse and even kill born children and make life unpleasant for those around them including injuring their husbands and live-in boy friends. The divorce rate for these women is very high.(¶) Many will go through several marriages and/or participate in lesbian acts.

The rapidly increasing phenomena of mothers severely abusing and even killing their born children should be seen as a direct result of the devaluation of life brought about by legalized abortion. Society -- along with the mothers, families and associates of aborted babies -- is increasingly paying the price for the atrocity of murdering the unborn.

A recent letter to the editor of the city newspaper began with the words, "I am so shocked at the abuse going on these days. I have been reading story after story of young women abusing their children, even killing them. I know there are different types of abuse out there, but mothers abusing their children is the one that hurts my heart the most."

In an even more recent letter to the editor (Mobile Register, 9 March 1998) the writer refers to an article regarding a teen-age girl who had killed her newborn baby and was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. The writer states that what makes this even more tragic is that this was not the girls first pregnancy. "She ended her fist pregnancy by having an abortion. I think she deserves to serve the full eight years or more, because what will she do if she gets pregnant again?"

How long will it take for (¶) psychiatrists, psychologists, police officials, news reporters, journalists, sociologists, and others to seriously start questioning whether and to what degree a woman's, her mother's, a relative's, or a friend's abortion has played a role in the abusive or destructive events that are increasingly taking place?

Often in the media we see the promotion of human rights around the world, but they never decry the horrible record of human destruction taking place in the United States or Europe. Is Saddam Hussein or the Chinese government any more destructive of life than is the Western World and Japan?

John Brown, Mike Griffin, Paul Hill, John Salvi (killed in prison), and now allegedly Eric Rudolph have taken intensive action in the hope that society will awake to the grave evils that it is allowing to take place. An evil far worse than the murder of 16 million people (including 6 million ethnic Jews) during the late 1930's and early 1940's. Far worse than the hundred million murdered under Joseph Stalin. Far worse than the tens, if not hundreds of millions that have died of famine under communism in China. What will make people aware of our present day so called civilized termination of innocent human beings that can reasonably be numbered in the billions?

The Birmingham police force -- seen as representative of society as a whole -- visually showed their acceptance of murder by abortion when in large numbers they attended the funeral of an abortion facility's guard who was killed in a bomb incident. The FBI and the ATF are on an intensive manhunt for the man they refuse to believe was a defender of the unborn. How sick our world has again become. The guilty are protected and the innocent suffer.

A Reader's Opinion on the editorial page of the Birmingham News on Sunday, March 8, 1998 presented a sound position. It was captioned as follows:

No chance for some to return from clinic

One does sympathize with the suffering nurse Emily Lyons has endured. However, she said she was going to "come back."
That is more than is possible with all of the innocent babies who were killed in the abortion clinic. I hope Mrs. Lyons can see and learn that her time and talents have been misused in helping to take innocent lives.

Life in every form is precious

Whoever bombed the abortion clinic in Birmingham, killing a guard and critically injuring clinic worker Emily Lyons, did a terrible thing.
Life is precious. Mrs. Lyons' life is precious, the guard's life was precious and so are the lives of unborn babies killed every day.
I was taught that two wrongs don't make a right. Bombing that clinic didn't make it right, and, as Mrs. Lyons said, "The clinics will continue to stay open, and the employees will continue to work, the people will continue to come."
She is right. Until people learn what abortion really is, nothing will be done to stop it legally. Bombing clinics is not the answer. Educating people is the answer, and there are groups out there trying.

COMMENT:
Narrowly focused people equate the value of the lives of the innocent and the guilty in Satanic concepts. Evil and good do not have the same goals. Discouraging the killing of the innocent has great moral value. Because of violence and the threat of violence many abortionists have quit the practice. Many medical schools have stopped teaching in regard to abortion procedures. Staffing of abortion facilities has become more difficult. Many clinics have closed.

Groups have been trying unsuccessfully for over 25 years to educate in regard to the evil of abortion. It seems that only visible catastrophe and death will get peoples attention. The media for the most part refuses to show video and still pictures of the remains of aborted babies. However, on television there are action scenes of lions and other predatory animals capturing and at times eating their victims alive. In China it has been reported that some abortionists and staff -- in the belief that they will receive health and life benefits -- eat their victims.

Nazi Germany, other cruel regimes, and abortuaries have commited their torture and murder behind closed doors or in other places kept from the view of the general public. For most people ignorance is bliss in regard to the reality of the evil taking place in the world and in their own communities.

Cowards are the first to be listed in the book of Revelation concerning damnation. People as a whole are cowardly. To escape damnation one must in some way be active against evil according to their personal God given abilities and calling.
