The question has been presented, Kenneth, No, I do not agree. The nature and history of Islam is such that dialog will in the long term be useless. From Islam's beginning, lies and force were the only things that Mohammed recognized as being effective to achieve his goals. Muslims should have been left alone by the free world, as sad as the outcome for them would be. Until and only until they are willing to give their own people reasonable religious freedom and allow evangelization from those with a reasonably different belief system would there be the glimmer of hope for effective dialog (If Mohammed's beliefs were tenable then there would be no problem with outside influence being effective in the long term. The Catholic Church is temporarily self-destructing because of its members lack of belief in the faith they profess.). Mohammed himself I believe was the "False Prophet" referred to in the book of the Apocalypse (Revelation 16:13; 19:20; 20:10). No other has been present in the world from the time of Christ to now to match his filling of the role (other false prophets have and will continue to exist, but only on a much minor scale by comparison). Islam has been in the hand of Satan from its outset. This does not mean that all Muslims are evil or will by necessity be precluded from entering Heaven. The only point of real commonality between Catholics and Muslims is our defined beliefs in the holiness of Mariam the Blessed Mother of Isa (Mary, mother of Jesus). Everything else is no more than wishful and ineffective thinking. Note: Our own government leaders and those of most of the so called free world are Freemasons, or some variant thereof (B'nai B'rith, Skull and Bones, Illuminati, etc.). Their goal is the "One World Order" which necessitates their having control of the Catholic Church ("One World Religion" promoted so effectively by JP2) that is seen as the only obstacle to their having control of the whole world (beginning with John 23 to include the present legal occupant of the See of Rome they have this control). Republican presidents since Herbert Hoover and other public figures have been members of the Bohemian Club in Northern California whose members worship the god Molech, the god of child sacrifice. Bill Clinton and Gov. Swartznegger are also members along with high office holders of some foreign governments. Almost without exception presidents of the United States have been Masons beginning with George Washington. Washington DC, including the Pentagon, are built upon Masonic symbols. There will be those seemingly profound statements (positions) made by popes, bishops and civil leaders that serve only to mollify the populace and keep them under control (Cardinal Mahony and Gov. Swartznegger are recent prime examples). Power, wealth, and sex are the temporal rewards these servants of Satan are after. Full fledged satanists believe that the more horrific their activities are the more they will please Satan and be given positions of meeting out punishments in Hell rather than receiving the full brunt of them. They know they are going to Hell because they are unwilling to give up their deviances (addictions).
