The Ordinaries (bishops, archbishops, and cardinals) of states with Catholic populations at or above the national average of 23%, mostly North Eastern states, are in practice pro-abortion with the exception of four (4) states. As of August 1997, except for the four of states, none have passed legislation against "Partial Birth Abortion." 14 states with lesser Catholic populations, as low as 3%, have passed legislation against what many people understand to be infanticide.
