Sermons AKA Homilies
given by Fr. David C. Trosch
Father Trosch celebrates (says) a much modified version of the vernacular (English language) Mass that intends to eliminate the errors and heresies found in the Mass of Pope Paul VI (often referred to as the Novus Ordo Mass). Grave problems exist in the Liturgy of the Eucharist and in the three special liturgical prayers of Mass, mostly in the Prayer over the Gifts. The Opening Prayer and the Prayer After Communion infrequently also contain errors more than to the degree that they can be said to be accidental. On rare occasions during the course of the liturgical year all three prayers contain unsound doctrinal positions.
A morally ordained Catholic priest who retains his moral status with God is the only one who can bring Jesus present in the Most Holy Eucharist. A man who has only legal ordination can administer the other six sacraments validly. His part is to provide the legal aspect of those sacraments while the recipient provides the moral aspect for validity. (Click to continue)
